Frances ("Fran") Steiner is the owner of Events By Fran. She started off coordinating and planning several of her friends' weddings, wedding showers, baby showers, and anniversaries for over 5 years as a hobby. In the year of 2011, she received her certification in international event and wedding planning from QC School of Event School. In 2016, she started her own event company focusing on clients who needs a budget-friendly wedding, bridal showers, anniversaries, rehearsal day/dinner, private parties, birthday parties and corporate parties. She is always making sure her clients are happy and enjoying their social event without worrying about the little details.
Fran and her EBF team is a small event and wedding planning company. We handle the logistics, budget, planning, designing, and coordination of events such as weddings, bridal showers, anniversary parties, baby showers, birthday parties, and corporate holiday parties. We are known to be specialized in beautiful outdoor weddings at wineries, ranches, historical parks and private homes. But, a lot of people don’t know that we are specialized in indoor luxurious events and small intimate social parties. No event is ever too small or too big! Personally, I always try to go above and beyond to my clients and their events. I like to bring in my 15 years of creative marketing and web design background skills.
Background: She graduated from Cal State Long Beach, California with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Option in Computer Engineering) in May 2000. She went on with her career in Marketing (Print/Online Advertising) and Web Designing for over 15 years of work experience with AOL Time Warner Cable, Cypress Retail Group (Commercial Real Estate Brokerage), Sweater.com/One Girl Who (Apparel Industry), and SAGE Publications. She’s always been the creative party planner for all of the companies’ holiday parties, customer service recognition/appreciation parties, and birthday parties.

When I'm not planning an event or attending an event, you'll find me playing with my two energetic boys, boxer dog Boss, and husband, John. Fran was our wedding planner throughout the whole process and made our day way better than we were even expecting. She used the decorative details we wanted and created something so uniquely beautiful! One really important factor of our wedding was that we had our dog part of our ceremony and were planning to keep her at the reception. Fran brought us a bag of goodies just for her! Being a shy dog, she began to be uncomfortable in her little pen but that was no problem at all! Fran and her team took care of it by taking Willow(our dog) all the way home! To me that was beyond our expectations. They even showed us pictures of Willow sleeping in the car so that we knew she was fine. Every question I had at any given moment throughout the wedding planning and day of, she was there. The evening was stress free 100% because of Fran. -- Stephanie L.
Fran and her team were wonderful. The day was a bit wild but our wedding and celebration were perfect. Fran has such an eye for design, and that is something I needed in my planner/day-of coordinator because I made all of my centerpieces, favors, cake toppers, and some of the signs. There were so many moving parts the day-of, and Fran managed all of it and made everything I had wanted look even better than I had imagined!
